Keep a record of ALL prescriptions your parent(s) take each day in your purse. Revise after each Dr.'s visit if necessary. Keep it updated. Helps when speaking with Dr.'s or if you have to visit a hospital emergency room.

I agree with Nonna's comment. I also kept a notebook at my mother-in-laws home and entered any comments from the Dr.'s and change in med's and how & what med's were to be given and when the next appointments were and with what Dr. in case another family member had questions or had to help with care.
