Janice Wallace, The Eldercare Coach, is the owner and founder of Caring for Caregivers.
The seeds for Caring for Caregivers were planted during her experiences caring for her aging parents for 14 years. What was rarely addressed by the eldercare practitioners who served her family were the profound emotional consequences of caregiving.
Caregivers often face these emotional challenges:
Janice uses her six years of experience as The Eldercare Coach and her training as a life coach to help families and individuals navigate the spiritual, emotional and practical challenges of caregiving.
Janice helps her clients assess the needs of their family member and create and follow a plan to provide the best care possible. Her clients successfully tackle issues such as caregiver stress and improving family cooperation. She encourages her clients to apply the business acumen they have developed in their careers and volunteer work to support their parents.
Janice founded Caring for Caregivers in 2004, after a 20 year corporate career, She speaks and leads workshops on eldercare issues.
